Every answer contributes 0–3 deployment-risk points. Six equally represented domains prevent hardware success from masking gaps in connectivity, remote control, field service, security, or lifecycle ownership.

Seven critical controls—commissioning, representative connectivity, remote commands, fleet updates, unique device identity, field service, and controlled rollout—can raise the indicator when one severe gap would otherwise disappear inside an average. Deterministic rules combine related signals into specific field-operating interventions.

The result does not certify equipment, predict fleet reliability, approve safety consequences, or replace representative testing and accountable specialist review.
