Atemon Technology Consultants took over the development of a unique room-renting app after two previous vendors failed to deliver. The app features specialized algorithms that suggest rooms, tenants, and potential roommates based on various user preferences and city data. Our team developed the algorithm, backend, and frontend while coordinating with external vendors for UI design and infrastructure setup. The app was completed on time and within budget, leading to a successful acquisition by a competitor for more than 10 times the initial development cost.
Our client had a vision for a room-renting platform that would not only allow users to list rooms but also suggest suitable tenants, rooms, and even potential roommates. After two vendors failed to develop the required algorithm, the client approached us through a reference. Our team stepped in, completed the algorithm, and took on the entire development, including the backend API (Python-Django), web frontend (Angular), and mobile apps (React Native for iOS and Android).
The project had already been abandoned by two vendors due to the complexity of the algorithm required for matching rooms, tenants, and roommates. The app needed to handle real-time data, allowing users to find ideal rooms or tenants while considering various criteria like budget, location, and preferences.
We began by developing the specialized algorithm that suggests rooms, roommates, or tenants based on user preferences and real-time data. Afterward, we built the backend API using Python-Django and integrated it with the frontend built in Angular for web and React Native for mobile apps. Our team also coordinated with external UI designers and infrastructure providers to ensure smooth development and deployment.
The app was completed within 9 months, meeting the client’s budget and timeline. The app successfully launched with advanced features such as personalized room and roommate suggestions, an intuitive search interface, and secure payment processing. The entire platform was later acquired by a competitor for more than 10 times the development cost.
