Responsible use

Terms of Use

The practical boundaries that apply when you use Atemon's website, free decision tools, generated reports and diagnostic workbench.

Effective 25 August 2026

Decision support

Tool output is an initial aid based on limited inputs—not professional advice, certification, approval or an audit.

Accountable use

You remain responsible for checking assumptions, evidence and consequences before acting on an output.

Safe inputs

Do not enter credentials, source code, personal data, confidential files or complete production payloads.

Agreement and scope

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of atemon.com, including its free assessments, planners, scorecards, generators, diagnostic workbench, reports and other website content (together, the "Site"). The Site is provided by Atemon Technology Consultant LLP ("Atemon", "we", "us" or "our"), based in Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala, India.

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you use the Site for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to use it on that organisation's behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or its tools.

These Terms apply only to the Site and free tools. Any consultancy, engineering or other paid engagement is governed by the separate proposal, statement of work or contract agreed for that engagement. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the engagement documents control for that engagement.

Tools and generated output

The tools organise information you provide using predefined questions, scoring models, rules, validation checks or formatting logic. Unless a tool expressly says otherwise, the tools do not inspect your software, infrastructure, evidence, organisation, equipment, contracts, controls or operating environment.

  • Assessment scores, risk levels, priorities, actions, migration approaches and readiness postures are initial indicators—not findings of fact, predictions, guarantees, approvals or certifications.
  • Architecture Decision Briefs organise the text you enter. They do not select an option, validate assumptions or approve a technical decision.
  • The API and Webhook Diagnostic Workbench analyses only the sample supplied. It does not execute requests, verify live systems or guarantee that automatic redaction has identified every secret or item of personal data.
  • The IoT Deployment Readiness Check is not equipment certification or a functional-safety, electrical, radio, cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, site or operational approval.

Do not use a tool output as the sole basis for a consequential decision. Obtain appropriately qualified technical, security, safety, legal, financial, accessibility, compliance or other specialist review where the context requires it.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the inputs you select or enter, the context in which an output is interpreted, and any decision or action taken from it. Before relying on an output, you must reasonably:

  • check that the inputs are accurate, current, complete and representative;
  • review the scoring explanation, limitations and unanswered questions;
  • verify material assumptions against appropriate evidence;
  • consider risks, dependencies and consequences the tool cannot observe;
  • obtain accountable approval and specialist review where appropriate; and
  • maintain suitable backups, rollback plans, testing and change controls before implementing technology changes.

You must comply with applicable laws, contractual duties, professional obligations and third-party rights when using the Site or sharing an output.

Restricted use and sensitive inputs

You must not use the Site to break the law, infringe rights, probe or disrupt systems without authority, introduce malicious code, evade security controls, overload the Site, misrepresent an output, or assist harmful or deceptive activity.

Do not enter or upload passwords, access tokens, private keys, credentials, source code, databases, confidential project files, customer records, health or payment data, complete production logs, personal data about other people, export-controlled information, or information you are not authorised to process. Use selectable answers, synthetic examples, or the smallest safely reduced sample that can support the task.

You are responsible for reviewing any copied, printed, downloaded or shared output and for storing and sharing it securely.

Intellectual property and report use

The Site, tool design, questions, scoring and rules, explanatory content, visual design, software and Atemon branding are owned by or licensed to Atemon and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as allowed below, no right is granted to copy, adapt, sell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, republish or create a competing service from them.

Atemon grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use the Site for lawful internal business or personal evaluation. You may print, save and share a report generated for your own situation, including with your professional advisers and project stakeholders, provided that you keep its source, scoring explanation and disclaimers intact. You may not resell, white-label or present a tool or report template as your own product.

You retain any rights you have in text or information you enter. Browser-local tool inputs are not transmitted to Atemon as described in our Privacy Policy.

Privacy and external services

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Site and contact form handle personal information, browser storage, service providers and optional analytics. Tool-specific privacy notices form part of the instructions for safe use.

The Site may link to services controlled by other organisations. External services have their own terms and privacy practices, and Atemon is not responsible for their availability, content or conduct. A link does not imply endorsement unless we expressly say so.

Availability, corrections and changes

The Site is provided without a service-level commitment. We may maintain, correct, improve, suspend or withdraw any part of it, and may revise questions, thresholds, rules, output or these Terms. We do not promise that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure or compatible with every browser or device.

A saved or printed report reflects the tool version and inputs used when it was generated. Later changes to a tool do not automatically update earlier reports.

No professional advice or warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Atemon does not make any express or implied warranty that the Site or an output is accurate, complete, current, fit for a particular purpose, suitable for your circumstances, free from defects, or capable of producing a particular business, technical, security, safety, compliance or commercial outcome.

Using a free tool, downloading a report, or sending an enquiry does not create a consultant-client, professional-adviser, fiduciary, partnership, employment or agency relationship. A professional relationship begins only when the relevant parties enter into a separate written engagement.

Reasonable limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Atemon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, business continuity, data or systems.

Atemon's total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the free Site and tools will not exceed INR 5,000. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits limitation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory rights or remedies available to you under applicable law. Any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent it is lawful in your circumstances.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere, all disputes arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms must be brought exclusively before the courts of competent jurisdiction in Kochi, Kerala, India, and each party submits to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent; Atemon may transfer these Terms as part of a genuine business restructuring or transfer.
